Paolo Tasca is a financial economist specializing in P2P Financial Systems and Systemic Risk.
His research appears in top international journals of the Nature publishing group and top peer-review finance journals.
Paolo Tasca is the co-organizer and member of the Scientific Committee of the annual international workshop “P2P Financial Systems”.
He has a professional accountancy background and served as CFO and Member of the Board of Directors for different European and US SME’s in various sectors including mechanical engineering industry and banking software industry. He also has many years stock and derivative trading hands-on experience for major international trading companies, financial advisory firms and hedge funds.
Paolo Tasca holds an M.A in Politics and Economics (Summa cum laude) from the University of Padua (Italy) and a M.Sc. in Economics and Finance from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. He did his PhD studies in Business between the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice and ETH, Zürich.
