Biography
Taner Akcok is a serial entrepreneur and corporate executive, based in Berlin, Germany. He serves as the Chief Information Officer at DWS. Previously, he was the Chief Technology Officer for Corporate Bank Germany at Deutsche Bank. As an entrepreneur, he achieved three successful exits and was recognized by Forbes Europe's "30 Under 30" for his leadership in tech and finance.
Taner began his career at Microsoft before founding his first startup AppAnalytics in Silicon Valley. The company was recognized by Business Insider as the 2nd Fastest Growing B2B Startup in the World and was later acquired by Nomad Commerce. Following his exit, he moved to Germany, where he built and exited several prominent companies and products, including Webtrekk (acquired by Mapp) and finleap connect (acquired by Finch Capital).
