Remus is a successful entrepreneur who co-founded Finalta – a benchmarking and data analytics company which was acquired by McKinsey & Co.

He has invested extensively across fintech, from core infrastructure to consumer apps. Alongside fintech, he’s also interested in climate and its intersection with finance. His investments include: Yapily, Copper, Sylvera, Raisin, Yonder, Translucent, Canopy Connect, 8fig, Supercritical, Weav (acq. by Brex), and Otta.

Remus’s career began in tech consulting, research and data analytics including at Datamonitor and then Forrester Research, where he led its European financial services team. After co-founding and scaling Finalta as CEO – and overseeing its sale to McKinsey and subsequent integration – he went on to lead the company’s international expansion from Europe to North and South America, and Asia.
