Rahul Patil is chief technology officer at Stripe, where he is responsible for engineering, commerce and regulatory platforms, and global operations.

Prior to Stripe, he was the senior vice president at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, responsible for building high-performance, highly available, broadly distributed Infrastructure-as-a-Service technologies from the ground up in a multi-tenant cloud environment. Before his tenure at Oracle, Rahul held various leadership roles at Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure, building critical infrastructure services. Rahul holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from PES University, a master’s degree in computer science from Arizona State University, and an MBA from the University of Washington. He lives in Seattle with his wife and two children.
