Matt has over 30 years experience in cards and payments, gained across markets in EMEA, Asia and the Americas. He is currently the Head of International Marketing, Product and Innovation at Discover where he leads a global team focused on growing issuing volume and acceptance as well as defining product strategy and driving innovation for the international business.

Prior to this he has held various roles at Discover including 8 years in Chicago where he managed the Discover issuing portfolio, as well as several years as Managing Director of Diners Club, EMEA. Previous roles include Marketing Director at Morgan Stanley and roles at American Express and HSBC.

Matt has an undergraduate degree from Cambridge University and an MBA from Kellogg School of Management.
