Biography
Prior to entering Parliament, Luke enjoyed a career in financial services.
He started his career at the Bank of England where he worked on a payments infrastructure project, and the polymer banknotes programme before then joining the Financial Conduct Authority.
Before being elected as an MP, Luke led the Fraud and Compliance department at the global FinTech, Remote, where he was responsible for screening billions of dollars of transactions a year.
Since entering Parliament, Luke has focused heavily on the Financial Services sector. He has convened Parliamentary debates on fraud and economic crime, and has been appointed to the Financial Inclusion Commission. Luke is also Chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on FinTech.
