Lal Chandran is the Co-Founder and CTO of iGrant.io, a leading wallet provider in the EU Digital Identity Wallet Consortium (EWC), spearheading the implementation of payment solutions within EU Digital Identity (EUDI) wallets. Headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, iGrant.io is a pioneer in secure and compliant data exchange and verification services powered by digital wallet technology under eIDAS 2.0 and the EU Digital Identity Wallet Implementing Regulations.

Lal brings over 20 years of expertise in software product development. He holds a Master's in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Liverpool (UK) and a Bachelor of Technology from the National Institute of Technology, Calicut (India). Before co-founding iGrant.io, Lal held key leadership roles across development, security (PKI), DevOps, and product management with organisations such as Larsen and Toubro, British Telecom, and Ericsson, spanning India, the UK, Ireland, Finland and Sweden.
