Few will have achieved more in 12 months, simultaneously within the Disability community and holding a whole industry to account - so the fact that Kris Foster is from the additional needs community, as an individual with Down Syndrome and Autism, makes the achievements all the more remarkable.

Alongside Kris' day job at Thredd, Kris co-founded a platform to share stories of lived experience on Instagram live, called Open Book, which has now completed 160 interviews with people from all walks of life.

Following an incredible response to 2 panels at Money 20/20 in 2023 Kris joined forces with Joanne Dewar to create Project Nemo, a pro bono initiative to accelerate disability inclusion and accessibility in the Fintech and payments sector. Project Nemo has created films podcasts, webinars, to raise awareness, signpost education and encourage our whole industry to ensure that the future of payments works for everyone.
