Karen Ions is the Head of JPMorgan’s industry-leading Commercial Card & B2B Payables business which offers a broad range of solutions to corporate clients in N. America and Europe to help them to drive organizational efficiency and unlock cash through smarter payments. This is facilitated by a product-set which encompasses both virtual and physical cards combined with versatile spend controls, online functionality and data integration.

Karen spent the first 17 years of her banking career as a Financial Services lawyer. She joined JPMorgan’s Legal function in 2011 in the London office. She moved from London to the US in 2014 and held various senior leadership positions within Legal until 2018 when Karen became the Head of JPMorgan’s Payment Network Office. In January 2022, Karen moved to the Commercial Card organization and became Head of Commercial Card the following November. She added B2B Payables to her remit in 2024.
