+20 years professional with extensive experience in the Portuguese, Spanish and Cape Verde markets, having held relevant executive positions in publicly listed US multinationals (S&P500 and NASDAQ), namely in global payments companies, as well as data and analytical modeling companies providing services for credit acceptance and insurance underwriting. João currently serves as a Board-Member of Realtransfer, a cross-border remittances PI with footprint in Europe, Brazil and Africa.

In addition to this serves as the President of ANIPE – Portuguese Association of Payment Institutions and Electronic Currency, as well as an advisory board member of ABIPAG – Brazilian Payments Association and as entrepreneur has co-founded Sourcing Trust, an IT nearshoring and engineering consultancy firm based in Lisbon.
