James Allington leads Global Advisory for Technology, Innovation Economy & NonBank Financial Institution clients at J.P. Morgan Payments. In his role, James is responsible for leading a team of experts who support clients with strategic advice, thought leadership, market intelligence and data driven insights, positioning J.P. Morgan Payments as the premier partner in the market. James's mandate involves close collaboration across Payments, Corporate Banking, and Investment Banking to drive growth efforts with clients at all stages of maturity, from digital natives to global platforms seeking innovation.

Before joining J.P. Morgan, James was with Ant Group, where he led Global Payments, FI Partnerships & Treasury for WorldFirst, among other leadership roles during his nearly decade-long tenure. James holds a BSc in Finance & Economics from Manchester Business School, United Kingdom, and has earned professional qualifications from the Association of Corporate Treasurers and the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.
