Gabriela Nistor is a visionary leader with nearly 30 years of experience in the banking industry. As Deputy CEO at Banca Transilvania (2013-2022), she was responsible for the retail banking division, leading strategic initiatives that fueled the bank’s growth, including the launch of the card business, setting up the call center operations, and advancements in retail digitalization through the BT Pay Digital Wallet.

In 2022, Gabriela joined Idea::Bank with the ambitious goal of building Romania's first fully digital bank from the ground up. Over the following year, she dedicated herself to transforming this vision into reality, and on April 4, 2024, as CEO, she launched Salt Bank. In just eight months, the bank attracted nearly 400,000 new customers, setting a benchmark for innovation and growth in the financial sector.

Gabriela also served as Vice President of the Romanian Banking Association (2021-2024), where she actively promoted financial and digital education.
