Desigan Chinniah aka Dees is a a champion tea-drinker, sneakerhead and bookworm. He's also a technologist. Post two decades of dot-com check-ins, he finds himself with a portfolio of advisory roles and board positions. For years he's realised that being 'poor is expensive' and has embarked on a number of financial inclusion efforts from new payment rails to open payment protocols and standards to interoperability within any transfer of value. He co-founded Grant for the Web, a $100M program which is now a part of the Interledger Foundation.
