Deep in crypto since 2017, Aliya leads Business Development and Ecosystem Growth at Sygnum Bank, a key financial services provider for the blockchain industry. Committed to fostering innovation, she spearheaded the SygnumRyse program to support emerging players in building compliant, cutting-edge solutions. She also drove the product innovation behind Sygnum Web3 Recovery, introducing the industry’s first institutional multi-sig account recovery service.

As the host of Sygnum’s podcast, The Crypto Explorer, Aliya engages with industry leaders in open discussions that highlight key trends and developments in the blockchain ecosystem.

Previously, she worked in crypto consulting, collaborated with the Crypto Valley Association (CVA), and led Business Development for a Layer 1 protocol. In May 2022, she became a Founding Board Member of CryptoMondays Zurich, and in June 2024, she was elected President of Women in Web3 Switzerland.
