As a child, Alex toured the world as a violin prodigy and performed under the greatest conductors of the modern era.

But aged 24 his career was abruptly halted by injury. Faced with mounting debts and no source of income, his criminal career began. His life spiraled out of control, culminating in several years spent in prison for dishonesty offences - everything from impersonating the 13th Duke of Marlborough to committing multi-million-pound cyber-crime.

Since 2022 Alex has turned his life around and become a leading figure and public speaker in the Counter Fraud profession. He advises Government departments (Home Office & FCDO) and consults for major financial institutions on the ‘Fraud Mindset’, sophisticated ‘Social Engineering’ techniques and the threat of emerging technology.

Alex sits on the Board of Advisors of FFAC C.I.C., partnering with banks, Police and Government to educate children about the risks of mule activity.
