Lord St John of Bletso

House of Lords

Lord St John of Bletso is a member of the British House of Lords, where he has served as a crossbencher since 1979. He trained and qualified as a lawyer in South Africa before working for almost 20 years in financial services in London in the City. Anthony has advised mentored several SMEs in digital currencies, disruptive technologies and corporate restructuring. He has recently served on the House of Lords Communications Select Committee and the Ad hoc select committee on artificial intelligence.

Anthony also has a long term interest in the charitable sector and serves as a trustee to several charities focused on wildlife conservation, poverty reduction, education and healthcare.
