Chi Achebe is a global venture capital investor, afrofuturist, and technologist.
She is the Founder and Managing Partner of Achebe Capital and Vested Interest (VestedInterest.vc), a VC fund & equity crowdfunding investment platform that invests in Web2 and Web3 community-driven startups across Africa, the African Diaspora, and the US. Vertical agnostic with an initial focus on fintech, commerce, and healthcare. She has invested in multiple unicorn companies and seeks to democratize access to high growth venture capital deals.
At YouTube, Chi leads the global go-to-market strategy development for third-party APIs, embedded videos, and notifications. Chi was the inaugural deputy director of the Anzisha Prize, a pan-African entrepreneurship award which sourced top entrepreneurs across various industries and was anchored by a multi-million dollar fund, sponsored by The MasterCard Foundation and African Leadership Academy.
She holds a BA from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Columbia Business School (Feldberg Scholar).
