Amy covers European fintech and venture capital for Sifted, the Financial Times-backed publication focusing on European startups.

She is mainly based in London but covers fintech companies based all over Europe — from pre-seed ideas to the big neobanks. Amy also authors Sifted's weekly Tuesday fintech newsletter.

Previously, Amy has been featured in the Financial Times, The Guardian, Reuters, and City AM. She started out in investor relations for Italian unicorn Yoox in Milan, and has retained a soft spot for Italy’s burgeoning startup scene.

She holds a masters degree in International Journalism from City University and a bachelors degree in Italian & Linguistics from Oxford.
