Unlike Alibaba owned Ant Forest which plants real trees in return for green living, our product delivers people a loyalty programme and green score providing signposting about what to buy and not buy in order to live a way that is consistent with a sub 1.5 degree world, according the 2016 Paris Climate agreement. It gives discount rewards so that when a consumer logs in with their bank, they get green employee benefits sent directly to them in Euros (€) or GBP (£) via their Bunq or Monzo banking app, and later other banks.
The overarching USPs of Climate Chain is that a participating employer does not need to have a business that is aligned with the green agenda or even a vested interest in order to support behaviour change. For example, even Shell or VW could participate in our employee engagement programme and have an impact through their employee populations.
