Among these, Name Check is a fully Verification of Payee - compliant Routing and Verification Mechanism (RVM), designed to streamline Verification of Payee (VoP) operations for both Requesting and Responding PSPs. Developed in response to the Instant Payment Regulation, this service underscores CBI’s commitment to regulatory compliance.
In addition to Name Check, CBI offers other VAS solutions such as Check IBAN and CBI Safe Trade, which provide unparalleled security and fraud prevention benefits.
Today, over 80% of the Italian banking sector relies on the CBI Globe platform, which facilitates seamless digital communication among Payment Service Providers, fintech companies, enterprises, and public administrations. By ensuring compliance with the evolving EU regulatory framework, CBI Globe plays a pivotal role in the Open Banking and Open Finance landscape.
