Samarth is the Co-Founder of FinTech Forum, one of the first (and now the largest) communities for FinTech in Continental Europe, Samarth was named to the Wall Street Journal / Financial News FinTech 40: "40 Innovators Shaping the Future of Finance".  He is the author of the 1st Study of FinTech Startups in D.A.CH. (Feb. 2014) and 2nd Study of FinTech in D.A.CH & CEE (May 2015).

Samarth is also the founder of TechFluence (2012), an award-winning research and corporate development advisory boutique on a mission to create the financial services of the future, working closely with startups and "hidden champions", investors, financial institutions etc.

He also has 15+ years in sales, business development and consulting: generated opportunities worth ~€ 7 Bn across 30+ tech offerings ranging from startups to the world's largest fintech firms, helping them enter Fortune 500 financial institutions, win new business, create joint centres of excellence with clients and more.

His prior experience includes Capgemini Deutschland (Financial Services GBU), HCL Tech / DSL (a Deutsche Bank JV), OrbiTech (Citigroup tech spin-off), and PwC, of which the last 10 years focused on Germany / Continental Europe.

Samarth has degrees in engineering (Computer Science, BIT Mesra) and MBA (Strategy & Marketing, IIM Calcutta).
