16:10 - 17:00 | Monday 26 June
| Track room 4 | Next Gen Retail & Commerce

30 billion devices are predicted to be connected to the internet by 2020 but what has been achieved for 2017 – and what is real for 2018? We will see cars automatically pay for parking and fuel, rings that pay for transport, and even connected coffee machines. Indeed, there seems to be no end to the number of “things” being connected to our ways to pay. Yet we remain in the early stages of developing the commercial IoT and the challenge is still very much one of integration and scale, not to mention consumer demand and user experience. So can IoT deliver on the dream of invisible payments – and what are the timescales around building the internet of value? Join the panel as they explore the use cases and discuss the roadmap for IoT payments integration.
