Getting around Amsterdam

By Public Transport Did you know that an Amsterdam Travel Ticket lets you use virtually all of the city’s public transport on one ticket? Your ticket includes unlimited travel from Schiphol to every train station in Amsterdam! You can choose either a one, two or three-day card to best suit your needs.

By Taxi Looking for an even faster and more comfortable route? If you decide on booking a transfer service your chauffeur will be waiting for you at the terminal with a sign with your name on it. Uber is also available and it comes as either Black (original service with VIP taxi sedans), Comfort (newer cars with extra legroom) or UberX (lower cost 'everyday rides'). There is also Green (electric) and Van (up to 5 people).

By Bike Amsterdam is known as the cycling capital, why not explore the city in a local lifestyle - by bike! If you have a specific area that you’d like to visit with a bike, checkout the local bike rental suppliers around. The City of Amsterdam has listed some options and suggestions where you can find them here. If you’d like to get on a bike anywhere around you, a shared bike is what you should go for. The map for shared bikes can help you locate any shared bikes in the city. Find the one closest to you!
