Modularbank's API-first and cloud-agnostic banking platform has been developed to cover all retail and business banking requirements, with plans to expand into corporate banking. The platform consists of independent modules - incl. accounts, lending, payments, deposits, assets & collaterals, financial accounting, cards - that can be deployed separately, depending on the business aims and the project schedule. Via a flexible ‘pick and choose’ approach, businesses can select the exact capabilities they need, without having to implement the whole platform at once. This enables the customer to move quickly and scale as needed.
Modularbank was founded in 2019 by a small group of Estonian financial IT pioneers and entrepreneurs with a decades-long experience in digitising and transforming large Nordic banks. The company currently has offices in Tallinn and Berlin, and employs over 60 people from 17 different nationalities.
