Charles Damen is Chief Product Officer of A2A payments infrastructure provider Token.io.

Charles is Chair of UK Finance's Open Banking Working Group and a co-founder of the Open Finance Association. Charles was also recently appointed to the Vision Engagement Group as a representative of the fintech sector, informing and supporting the work of the UK’s Payments Vision Delivery Committee.

Prior to joining Token.io, Charles was the SVP Product Strategy at Worldpay, responsible for real-time payments and open banking. He brings more than 25 years of payments, mobile and internet experience to his role.

Prior to Worldpay Charles co-founded and led the global real-time cross border payments fintech Thunes. Charles has also led the payments and fraud team at global e-commerce merchant Bumble and has been a board member at the Merchant Risk Council. Prior to Bumble, he co-founded the mobile messaging business Mobile365, which was sold to SAP.
