Alex is a third-time founder building consumer products since starting his first business in 2015 and selling it in 2022, with an appearance on BBC’s Dragons' Den in between.

In 2020, his dad was scammed out of most of their life savings (£150k) and Alex was responsible for helping him go through the emotional and financial recovery.

He started Ask Silver to build human-centred scam prevention tools. They have built the most trusted AI Scam Checker in the UK, featured on the BBC, ITV and countless more media outlets. They have built a Know-Your-Transaction (KYT) Platform to help financial institutions better protect their customers from scams through detection and intervention.
